6	Born Free; Oscar Winning Songs
August Friday 19:30h	Born Free; Oscar Winning Songs from the Movies Pride is a busy time in Brighton’s calendar but a must for this year’s diary is The Brighton and Hove (actually) Gay Men's Chorus ever popular Pride Show. This year it is ‘Born Free’ - their tribute to some of the great Oscar winning songs from the Movies. If you are a Movie fan it is a show not to be missed. It promises to be a fun night and an ideal way to kick off the festivities. The show will be compered by that talented star of stage and screen Joanna Van Gyseghem who recently played Camilla Parker Bowles in Channel Four’s ‘The Queen’. She is also fondly remembered for her roles in ‘Duty Free’ and ‘Rumpole of The Bailey’. Chorus Musical Director Jason Pimblett said – ‘We all love the magic of the Movies and the power they have to move and inspire us. Some of the great movies such as ‘ Titanic, Gone with the Wind, An Officer and a Gentleman , Henry V’ and not forgetting ‘Born Free’ had wonderful Oscar winning theme songs. We thought we would bring these and many other favourites together in a unique show’’ 'Born Free' is on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th August at St Andrew’s, Waterloo Street at 7.30 pm. 12	Heritage Day with Lady Teviot
Sunday 14:00h -16:00h	Lady Teviot will be giving a talk on the Church Memorials. A great opportunity to learn more about the St Andrew's and join us for a cuppa!

10	The Big Draw
Sunday 14:00h -16:00h	The annual Big Draw will be a great day out and a chance for children and adults to come along, grab a brush or a pen and be creative! There will be light refreshments as well.
