As you may know early worshippers at St Andrew's used to rent their pew seats.The income going to support the Incumbent Vicar. We thought it would be nice to adapt this bit of history to the modern needs of St Andrews.

The CCT have asked us to raise the monies to pay for the restoration of the Altar Baldachino and of the Font. So in order to do this we are instituting a system where you may sponsor a nominated seat on any of the pews. All the income generated going to the Baldachino fund. This of course does not give you use of that seat. But a nice way to show your support or to remember a loved one.

For £50 you can have your name inscribed on a faux brass plaque which will be fitted into the original name slot.

The Chairman of the Friends of St Andrews' Gerry McCrudden, bought the first plaque. and we have installed plaques in memory of two recently deceased supporters of St Andrews; Bert Hobden and Norah Tunney.
