Stained Glass |

On the south side, from left to right are: James the Great, Philip, Matthew, James Minor On the north side: Simon, Thomas, Bartholomew, John the Evangelist.
Designed by Hardman of Birmingham, and originally set into a dark background, they were reset into clear glass roundels from Venice as part of Kirkley's work.
The window to the north of the altar, behind the organ, which depicts angelic musicians and St. Richard of Chichester, is also by the firm of Hardman. It dates from 1882. The same firm also designed the pale window in the south transept which shows St Matthew, St Andrew, St Peter and St Thaddeus. The small panels at the base display the methods of their respective executions. To the south of the altar are two 20th century windows by Christopher Webb of St Albans. The one over the doorway into the south lobby, installed in 1938, represents the Christ Child flanked by the Shepherds and Magi.
Below it, in the east wall of the lobby, is an exceptionally fine window of the Anunciation dating from 1927, in memory of Oliver Scott.
At the west end of the church is a three-light window of 1882 by Hardman, with the text "Of such is the kingdom of Heaven". Webb was also asked to design a window to replace this one, but it appears not to have got off the drawing board.
